Farming for energy.
  • Oklahoma Ethanol LLC will build, own and operate the Plant.
  • The Plant will employ 30-35 employees; operate at more than 96% efficiency, 350 days a year.
  • The Plant will convert local grain, sorghum and corn into fuel grade ethanol, distillers grain and carbon dioxide. Grain needs not met locally will be railed in, and this can be done profitably.
  • Oklahoma Ethanol LLC has signed a limited notice to proceed with Bio-Renewable Group from Fargo North Dakota, for design and construction the ethanol facility.
  • The 55 m gallon ethanol plant will require on an annual basis:
    • 19.7 m bu corn/sorghum
    • 1.8 BCF of natural gas
    • 41.3 MWH electricity
    • 248 m gallons water
  • The Plant will be located adjacent to the ADM elevator facility in Enid on 40 acres of land to be purchased by Oklahoma Ethanol from ADM. The site is located at the corner of Willow and 16th street in Enid.
  • The ADM facility has two elevators which currently handle wheat, milo, corn and soybeans. The total storage capacity of the elevators is 30 million bushels and the facility has shuttle train unloading and loading facilities.
  • Enid is the 8th largest city in the State of Oklahoma and will provide full municipal and commercial services to the Plant. Enid has a strong business infrastructure and has agreed to provide local incentives for the Plant through a Tax Increment Finance program.
  • In considering a site, Oklahoma Ethanol LLC evaluated the following:

    – Availability of land
    – Grain availability
    – Proximities to dairies and feedlots to allow for feeding of wet
        distillers grain
    – Road and rail access and transportation infrastructure to site
    – Availability of utilities
    – Availability of debt financing
    – Local community support, incentives and commitment
    – Qualified and/or trainable labor force
